I want to share with you a card I made for the Simply Betty Stamps fan page challenge.  The challenge is to use the Summer Fairy image drawn by Betty and create a background. 

 

Here is what I made.

 

 

I was going for the summer night.  It's hard to see in pictures, but the black cardstock has a faint and sparkly floral pattern stamped on it, using a Versamark ink pad.  The image is from the Jaded Blossom "Simple Sayings, Valentine Edition".

 

The sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom "Simple Sayings 2" stamp set.

I really like this image and can't wait to "think outside my box" and try multiple color combinations.
