Today we are having a Surprise Birthday Hop for Corrine and Irene, two of the Simply Betty Stamps ladies.  You should have come from Sharman's blog.  If not, you'll want to start at the beginning, Betty's blog.

Betty drew 2 special digis, one for each of them.  I used Corrine and made her this Birthday card.

True Love with Mama's Mesh

Happy Monday Crafty Friends!

Did you have a good weekend?  I did!  I brought my oldest home from college for the Holidays, I got some Christmas shopping done, I got some crafty projects made, and I even had some time to go and watch the Parade of Lights on the Bay.

I got out my Valentine's papers and started working on the next Holiday for crafting.

Today is my day to share over at the Lovebug Creations blog, so I combined some Mama's Mesh and Valentine's papers and stamps together to make this card.

Supplies:
Valentine paper from my stash
My Creative Time "Chocolate Greetings" kiss die and sentiment stamp
Foil (I die cut the foil and card stock together)
Mama's Mesh "Princess Party Pink"

The pink really pops against the black and white background!

Secret Santa Sneak Peek

Happy Sunday Crafty Friends!

Are you getting all your Holiday shopping and baking done?  I've still got some presents to get and make, so it looks like I'll be pretty busy until the 24th.

The Lovebug Creations Team is participating in a Secret Santa exchange and today we are sharing sneak peeks of the handmade part of the gift.

Here is what I made for my Secret Santa:

I made a paper Christmas ornament using a file from SVG Cuts, and embellished it with some pretty Rumple Ribbon from Lovebug Creations.  The sentiment and tag are both from Jaded Blossom.

I hope she likes this and all the crafty goodies I got her.

Cookies For Santa Blog Hop

Happy Saturday Crafty Friends!
and
Welcome to the Cookies For Santa Blog Hop

Today we have a group of fun crafty ladies sharing with you cookie recipes and creative way to package cookies.

You should have come from Denise's blog.  If you just happened upon my blog, be sure to start at the beginning, Lisa's blog.

Here is what my youngest and I baked to share with you.

Since I have been pretty busy lately working full-time (and over-time) I thought I'd share how to have some baking fun with your little ones and still make great cookies.

We bake lots of goodies for Family and Friends at the Holidays, and most of them are made from scratch.  But occasionally you need a treat and don't have lots of time for prepping.  There are a lot of refrigerator cookies and boxed mixes that you can use.  It's okay if you don't make everything from "scratch", it's more about the baking and decorating memories.  And with the little ones, they may loose interest if the prepping takes too long.

Supplies:

Pillsbury refrigerator Sugar Cookie dough
Christmas sprinkles

Cookie "box" is an svg file from SVG Cutting Files, "Santa Fry Box"
(this fry box fits 4 large cookies perfectly)
"Simply Red" Rumple Ribbon from Lovebug Creations

Jaded Blossom "Treat Tag Die"
Jaded Blossom "Cookies For You" stamp
Recollections card stocks
"Simply Red" Rumple Ribbon from Lovebug Creations

We had lots of fun baking these cookies, and even more fun eating them :)
