SBS Tumblin Buddy Exchange

Yay! It's Friday!

Welcome to the Simply B Stamps first ever Tumblin Buddy Exchange! I love my SBS stamps and digis, and love the Simply B Stamps Fan page on Facebook! There are lots of great people and Betty even shares an ocassional sneak with us.

One of the fun things I like to do is participate in swaps, so when Betty started the Tumblin Buddy Exchange, I quickly signed up. I love making new friends in the crafting community and sharing our love for SBS and paper crafts!

You should have come from Suzi's blog. If not, then make sure you start over at Betty's blog so you don't miss a thing.

My buddy was Lisa, from www.distinctiveLMNts.blogspot.com, and here is what I received from her.
This is the card that Lisa made for me using the Tumblin Buddy digi that Betty designed especially for the exchange.
Here is what was in the box.
This is all the goodies that Lisa fit into the tumbler.

I love the purple tumbler, the candies, and all the crafty goodies she sent me. Our card styles differ a bit so some of what she sent me is different from stuff that I already have. I can't wait to step outside my comfort zone and get crafty with these goodies!

Happy Birthday Old Chap

Hi Crafty Friends!

Are you enjoying your summer? My kids and I had a good time this summer, even though I still had to work. But for them, summer vacation is officially over :( Today is the first day of school! My oldest is now a Senior in high school, my son is in the 8th grade, and my little princess starts 1st grade. I still can't believe how fast time has gone by. None of my babies are babies any more :(

Today is my day to share over at the Timeless Twine blog, and here is my project.

Details:
Cardstock and patterned paper are from my stash
Mustach and sentiment are from Pink By Design "Mustaches" set
Khaki Timeless Twine

Mustaches are so populare right now and the khaki twine added just the right finishing touch and texture to this card. I think I have the perfect "Old Chap" to give this card to ;)

Don't forget, you still have some time to enter a project into this month's challenge at the Timeless Twine's blog. It's a color challenge and you can link up your project here.

Also,
Pink By Design is turning 2 this weekend and we are celecrating with a huge party on saturday! We have a fun filled day of challenges and prizes planned. Be sure you RSVP to the Facebook event here so you don't miss a thing. If you're not on Facebook, then be sure to check out the Pink By Design blog at 8am CST for the first challenge.

The Stawberry is attached to the card using an Action Wobble.

Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends!

You know what Wednesday means? That the work week is half over and I can see Saturday!

It also means that it's my turn to share over at the Timeless Twine blog!

While my kids and I were at my parents on vacation last week, my Mom, my Sister-in-Law and I got crafty with paper, stamps and twine! I got quite a few cards made for upcoming posts and blog hops. I love crafting with them and it was nice to be on vacation and play all day (and night). I also learned how to "broom crochet", and I made a few bracelet cuffs that I will share in another post.

Here is my card that I am sharing over at Timeless Twine. You can see all the details here.
