Happy Crab

Happy Tuesday Crafty Friends!

Today is my day to share over at the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons blog.

Since today is the last day of summer for two of my kids (all of our schools start the new year on Wednesday), I thought it was fitting to make this cute summer card.

Details:
"Beach Ball Card" from the "Little Swimmers" cutting file
"Happy Crab" from the "Moody Crabs" cutting file (I only used the base layer)
papers by DCWV
sentiment from "You Had Me At" by Sweet Stamp Shop
"mouth" from Peachy Keen PK-1400 "Clowning Around Face Asst."
wiggle eyes

Doesn't this little guy just make you smile?

Have a great week and Thanks for stopping by!

Pretty Cute Stamps Sneak Peek

Happy Monday Crafty Friends!

Today I am sharing over at the Pretty Cute Stamps blog.  I am sharing the next sneak peek of an upcoming stamp set from Pretty Cute Stamps.

Are you following all the sneak peeks?  I am in love with them and can't wait for their release!

The stamp set that I got to play with is called "Sea Ya Soon" and it has the cutest sea creatures and sentiments!

I made a set of 3"x3" note cards.

I used various brands of patterned papers for these (DCWV, Studio Basics 101, Stampin Up, and Echo Park).

The whale, lobster, and sea turtle are stamped directly onto patterned papers.  The dolphin was stamped on shite cardstock and then colored with Copics.  I then cut out each stamped image.

Each card is embellished with Rain Dots or Sequins.

Have a great week and Thanks for stopping by!
