Hello Spring!

Happy Monday Crafty Friends!

Welcome back to my little space in bloggy land :)  I've had quite a busy and crafty past week.  My kids and I spent a few days with the Grandparents.  I call it Camp Grandma and Grandpa.  My mom taught me a lot of quilting basics and helpful techniques, my son worked on his remote controlled car with Grandpa, my niece and my youngest played dolls and made lots of loom band bracelets, and my sister-in-law worked on making shaker cards.

I've got a fun hangover, but it's my day to share over at the Lovebug Creations blog and I have a Spring card featuring some of their new Buttercup Rumple Ribbon.

Details:
The eggs were cut using the die from the My Creative Time "Hello Spring" stamp and die set.
The sentiment is from the same set.
I made the background paper by stamping the sentiment randomly all over the green cardstock using a Versamark ink pad.
The finishing touch is a bit of "Buttercup" Rumple Ribbon tied in a pretty bow.

Have a great week and thanks for stopping by!

All the images are from the Paper Smooches "Green Thumb" stamp set, and were colored with Copics.

What Up Chickie?

Happy Monday Crafty Friends!

How was your weekend?  I had a great weekend but it went by way too fast.  My oldest came home from college for a couple of days since it's the end of her Spring Break.  We did a bit of shopping for college essentials, food, and a few fun crafty things.

Today is my day to share over at the Lovebug Creations blog.  I made a cute spring card using my new Peachy Keen stamp sets.

Details:
Shape card was made using a Spellbinders Scallop Square die, but I first folded the cardstock in half and then placed the die slightly over one edge.  This allowed for the die to cut one connected piece.

The patterned cardstock is from My Minds Eye "Happy Day" 6x6 stack.  I also cut this using the same die and glued it to the card.

PK-1375 "Faceless Chickens", stamped on patterned cardstock and cut out.

PK-1373 "Chickie Face Assortment", white gel pen

Lovebug Creations "Crushed" Rumple Ribbon

I'll be entering this card in the Peachy Keen Stamps Color Inspiration Challenge, 14-04.

Have a Great week and Thanks for stopping by!

Bookmarks

Hello Crafty Friends!

Did you see my shaker card yesterday?  For that card I used a couple of the stamps from the Paper Smooches "Spectrum" stamp set.  Today I used a few of the other stamps to make some cute book marks.

Detail:
Paper Smooches "Spectrum" stamp set, color with Copics
Taylored Expressions "Clip It Up" die set

My youngest has already tried to claim them as hers :)  I think I'm going to need to make more so both of my daughters have their own sets.

Sunshine and Rainbows

Erin Go Bragh!

Happy St. Patrick's Day Crafty Friends!

Did you have a good weekend?  Did you get crafty?  We had really warm temps here (high 80s to low 90s) so we took advantage of that and started some spring cleaning.  I went through kids clothes and started purging my craft room.  I (like many crafters) have too much stuff!  When my oldest went away to college I sort of took over her room a bit and my "stuff" has spread outside of my craft room.  I am proud that I made good progress to get my room cleaned out and organized so I can craft in their and not her room.  I know she'll be happy to have her room back :)

In addition to cleaning, I did a little crafting.

Today is my day to share over at the LoveBug Creations blog, and I am sharing this adorable Sunshine and Rainbows shaker card.

Details:
Paper Smooches "Spectrum" stamp set, colored with Copics
Simple Stories "Snap Color Vibe" patterned papers
Sequins
LBC "Sunflower" Rumple Ribbon

I'll be entering this card into the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge - Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by!
