Track Banquet Centerpiece

Hi Crafty Friends!

I just wanted to make a quick post to share with you a centerpiece I made for my oldest daughter's High School Track banquet.  This is her senior year and so this banquet was a special one.  She has loved running for her school and will be heading off to college in the fall and will also be running for the University.  (Proud Mommy moment)

Here it is:

Varsity Letter Cricut cartridge for the "H"
Silhouette online store for the runners
Jaded Blossom "School Days" candy stamps

I love making treats using these stamps!  And everyone loved the sweets!

Here is a picture of my daughter and her coach at the banquet.

Mother's Day Treat

Happy Mother's Day Crafty Friends!

I want to share with you the first paper piecing using my new Silhouette Cameo!

My youngest wanted to make a treat for her Nana so she chose this Kitty file from SVG Cutting Files.  She also chose the colors for the kitty and candies.  Didn't the kitty turn out cute?!

The tag and candy sentiments are from the Jaded Blossom Mother's Day set, and the twine is from Timeless Twine.

I'm entering this in the current Timeless Twine challenge and the SVG Cutting Files "Fur Babies" challenge.

Mother's Day Gifts with Lovebug Creations

Hello Crafty Friends!

Welcome to the Gifts in Honor of Mother's Day blog hop, sponsored by Lovebug Creations!

Today the Rumple Ribbon Creative Team, along with a few customers (including me) are sharing with you gifts for Mother's Day.

You should have come from Dardies' blog, but if you just stumbled upon my post, please hop on over to the Lovebug Creations blog and start from the beginning.  You won't want to miss a single blog!

Here is my Mother's Day card that I made:

Supplies:
patterned papers from the My Mind's Eye "Ooh La La for Her" stack
solid cardstock
Spellbinders "Scallop Rectangle" die
buttons
sentiment from Jaded Blossom's "Mother's Day" set
and of course, Rumple Ribbon from Lovebug Creations
"Rosebud", "Sunflower", and "Caddy Blue"

I made the flowers by carefully gathering along one edge with a needle and thread.  I then used glue dots to adhere them to small circles of cardstock.  I added a button for the centers.

The ribbons can be found here in their shop.  And there are so many beautiful colors to choose from!

Lovebug Creations is offering blog candy which is a $15 gift certificate to the store.  In order to qualify you must comment on and follow ALL blogs!  The winner will be announced Monday May 6 on their blog!
