Happy Summer - PBD June Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the Pink By Design Stamps June Release Blog Hop! We are celebrating the new release with a blog hop, and then a UStream party tonight at 8:00 pm CST at www.ustream.tv/channel/pink-by-design-stamp-release. The Ustream parties are always so much fun, you don't want to miss it!

Today we are sharing project made with the new releases. If you came from Elizabeth's blog, then you're in the right place. If you just happened upon my blog (and thank you for stopping by), then you'll want to start at the beginning so that you don't miss a thing.

For my card I used the "Everyday Banners" set. You can find it here. This is a fun set because it comes with 2 different banner stamps and lots of year-round sentiments.


Details:
The banners are all stamped using brown ink onto cardstock from the "Surf's Up" stack by Recollections, and then hand cut out.
I adhered the teal cardstock to the top part of the card and then added each banner piece while trying to vary the length and placement.
I added a ribbon to cover up all the edges, and stamped the sentiment using the same brown ink.
I've been saving tons of cards and projects to my Pintrest boards and the inspiration for this card was from a card I saw on Pintrest.

Pink Shoe Addict

Happy National Pink Day!

In honor of National Pink Day, I created a set of mini cards featuring the "Shoe Addict" set that was the May SOTM. What woman doesn't love a pretty pink pair of shoes? I love shoes (even dressy ones) but since I work in a laboratory, I don't get to wear them much.
