Becky's Birthday Blog Hop

Happy Saturday Crafty Friends and Welcome to Becky's Birthday Blog Hop!

I first like to say Happy Birthday to Becky and Thank You for inviting me to help you celebrate!

If you just happened upon my blog today then you'll want to start at the begining at Becky's blog.

If you've come from Dandy's blog, then you're in the right place.

Becky asked everyone to create something incorporating some of her favorite things; cherries, polka dots, faries, pin-up girls, or 1950s theme.

I chose to make her a card using some new paper that I found at Michael's. I bought it because I loved the cherries on it, and it's perfect for Becky!

Here is my card:

Details:
* Cardstock and Patterned paper - Recollections
* Cupcake image - Pink By Design stamps "A Cupcake For You" set
* Cupcake is colored and blended with colered pencils
* Sentiment - Pink By Design "Take the Cake" set"
* Spellbinders Scalloped Ovals
* Stickles on the cherry
* Foam dimensionals

Your next stop along the hop is Nicole's blog.

Be sure you stop and leave a comment on everyone's blog for a chance at a Cricut cartridge from My Cricut Craft Room, who is sponsoring this blog hop.

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh Baby! Blog Hop Day 3

Happy Saturday and welcome to day 3 of the Oh Baby! blog hop!

Today's hop is being hosted by Emily at Create Seredipity. If you came from Nancie's blog, then you're in the right place, if not then make sure you start from the beginning at Emily's blog because you don't want to miss out on any of the cute baby themed projects.

You will also have a chance to win lots of blog candy along the way! This is a very large hop, so you have 3 days to check out all of the projects! This hop runs from August 4-6, so make sure you check back for new projects each day!

Now on to my last baby themed project for the hop. This one is pink!

Details:
* Waterfall card
* DCWV 'Baby Girl' paper stack
* 'Baby Steps' Cricut cartridge
* Pink By Design 'All Girl' sentiment stamps ("Little girls have a Magic all their own")
* i-Rock gems
* ribbon

I've seen a lot of these style of cards made, but I hadn't tried one before. You can search and find lots of tutorials on the web. It seems a little hard and intimidating, but it was pretty easy and super fun to do!

For my blog candy, I am offering the "Welcome Baby" stamp set from Unity Stamps.

All you need to do is leave me a comment on each of posts for this hop. I'd love it if you'd like to follow my blog, but it's not necessary. Also, be sure to leave me a way to contact you if you are to win. I'm sorry, but I won't track down a winner and I'd hate to have to draw another name. Also, only US and Canada addresses are eligible (sorry, but postage can get pricey).
(Note: I will be adding all comments from day 1, day 2 (both hops), and day 3, and then chosing a winner. This way everyone from both hops has a chance to win!)

Now hop along to Kimmarie's blog and see what she has made for today!

I hope you had a great time on this baby hop and enjoyed all the projects.

Thanks for stopping by!

Scrappin' Chics Challenge - Banners and Pennants

Hello Crafty Friends!

I can't believe July is over and we are already in August! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer and keeping cool.

A new month means a new challenge over at The Scrappin' Chics Challenge blog. This month's challenge is to incorporate banners or pennants into you project.

For my first project I made a "Welcome Baby" card. Banners are really popular right now and are so much fun to add to a card or layout!

Details:
* DCWV "Baby Boy" stack for the patterned paper
* Pink By Design "Small Banners" for the banner pieces (stamped onto patterned paper and then cut out)
* Pink By Design "Baby Love" set for the sentiment
* baby blue embroidery floss
* buttons

Be sure to head on over to The Scrappin' Chics Challenge blog and check out what all of the other designers have created. I hope you find some inspiration and create a project of your own. I can't wait to see what you create!

Thanks for stopping by!
