Sarah has just recently come out with her own stamp sets called Pink By Design (www.pinkbydesign.com) and they are really cute! I've been having lots of fun matching up the sayings with Cricut cuts.
Warning: This post may be a bit long. When Sarah asked me to make a card, I got a bit carried away and made 3!
Here are the cards that I made. I only have 3 of the sets, so I made one card with each of the sets that I have.
This first one is a tri-fold card. This is also the first time that I've used my Design Studio. I can't afford a Gypsy right now, so I bought Design Studio to be able to try to weld and hide. While making this card, I learned that it's inportant of lay out all the little squares before gluing them down. There is not onyl the pattern while the card is open, but also while it is closed. I was really picky about which papers sat next to each other.
Details:
Simply Charmed cartridge - Penguin cut at 3" (used DS to hide the face)
Peachy Keen Critter faces stamp
Joys of the Season cartrdige - snowflakes cut at 1 1/4 inches
Cuttlebug Embossing folders - Snowflakes and Dots
Cardstock - Michael's
Patterned paper - old Wal-Mart stack
"Let's Chill" - Pink By Design 'Simply Everything' set
"Happy Holidays" - Stampin Up stamp
Ribbon - Michael's
Bling - i-Rock
Stickles
This next card is a standard A2 size card. I love her new set 'Shopaholic'! While reading the sentiments, I had so many card ideas running through my head. Here is what I decided on.
Details:
Forever Young cartridge - Heels cut at 2 1/2 inches
Cardstock - Michael's
Patterned paper - DCWV Glitter Stack
"Heels to You" - Pink by Design 'Shopaholic' stamp set
Ribbon - Michael's
Stickles - pink on shoes
Bling - i-Rock
Enamel Accents - black on shoes (to look like patten leather)
And lastly, I made this card with the new "Go Green" set. This set has so many cute animal sentiments!
Thanks again to Sarah for asking me to be her Guest for the day! I love following blogs and Facebook pages. I get lots of inspiration from everyone and I love to share what I make! I don't have any scrappin friends who live close, but I feel like I have made lots of scrapping friends through wonderful people and sites like PinkCricut!
