Caramel Apple Cookies

Hello Crafty Friends!
 
I hope everyone had a great weekend and were able to get a little crafty!  I have been working on design team projects, hop projects, and challenges.
 
I've been playing along with Peachy Keen Stamps' weekly challenges this month.  The new challenge, PKC 13-39 is to create a card and include a recipe in it.
 
A co-worker made these yummy Caramel Apple cookies for a potluck and I just had to have to recipe.  They are a little work but so worth it in the end.  My kids loved them and I will definitely be making these again (soon).

Supplies:
Oven Mitt card base is from SVG Cuts "Gingerbread Chalet" kit, and the apple is from "Miss Baker's Classroom"
Jaded Blossom "Candy Charms and Banners" with sentiment from "Winter Wishes" set
Lovebug Creations "Sunset" Rumple Ribbon
and of course
Peachy Keen Stamps "Wide Eyed Kids" faces
