Disney Pixar Blog Hop

Welcome Back!

Today I was invited to participate in Day 2 of the Disney Pixar Blog Hop.  You should've come from Jenny's blog.  If not, be sure to start at Shawn's blog, you won't want to miss a thing!

Growing up is southern CA, we went to Disneyland a lot.  I finally took my 3 kids a couple of years ago and we had a blast!  We took lots of picstures and I am slowly getting them into a scrapbook.

Here is a 2 page layout that I made for our scrapbook.  We had lots of fun collecting character autographs.

As you can see from the pic on the left, my littlest Princess didn't want anything to do with the characters at first.

Lots of hugs for Pluto!

My 3 kiddies :)

My girls and me with Donald.

I like to keep these pages simple since I have so many to make.  I used the Mickey Font cartridge for the letters, and added some Disney stickers.

Be sure to stop by and comment on all the blogs along your way.  ContainYa Crafts has donated a Scrap'n Easel as the grand prize giveaway.

For my blog candy, I would like to give away a Mickey or Minnie crochet cup cozy.  Just leave me a comment and let me know what your favorite ride at one of the Disney parks is.  Be sure to leave me a way to contact you, and become a follower if you'd like.

Your next stop on the hop is Tami's blog.

Thanks for stopping by!

  3. I love you pages and the cozies. Would you mind sharing the pattern? I am heading to WDW this spring with some girlfriends and this would be a great little goodie to give everyone. As for rides, I love them all! The last couple of visits we took the boys so we spent much of the time riding the toys story mania ride, over and over again. I get to go with girlfriends this spring, and I'm looking forward to rediscovering some of the grownup rides :)

I have only been to Disneyland once and I did not get to go on all of the rides, but the outside of It's a Small World was amazing!

  10. Cute layout. Always in need of a template for lots of pics. Question about your letters -- I use Mickey Font a lot, but yours look great with the black "inside" each color, but still showing a shadow. Can you give details on what you did with the letters. I'm the last stop on today's hop (Kim at uscrap2) so you can contact me via my blog or via email at u(dot)scrap2(at)yahoo(dot)com. Thanks so much!

  11. Funny you mentioned Disney . I first went to DISNEY IN CA. WHEN I WAS 5. My father was stationed in San Diego at the time. My favorite ride was the teacups ride, only because my brother fell into the cup and fell out of the cup. do remember one ride where the witch reaches out with the poison apple.(scared me) Those memories are all that this 52 year old LADY REMEMBERS. I did get a chance to get a trip magic Kingdom IN F;orida with my son who is now 3o.
OH I DO LOVE THR MICKEY COZIE Soo cute.

  12. What a cute cup cozie and I'd love to win it. My favorite rides at Disney have to do with Mountains ... Splash, or Space? Splash, or Space? It's a toss up, but I think I'll go with Splash Mountain because I love that drop into the water, especially on a hot day. I have taken it, though, on not-so-hot days and had to promptly find a shop (not hard to do!) to find a sweatshirt to cover my wet shirt! What a marketing technique!!! I know my LEAST favorite ride: Rock'n Roller Coaster. I got knocked unconscious on that ride and suffered a concussion, ugh. Nothing like a little permanent brain damage to ruin a trip!! :(

  13. My favorite theme park is Animal Kingdom. I love the spaciousness of that park and all of the animals. You can just get away from all of the crowds on one of the trails or hike up the himalayas, or get chased by the abominable snowman on Everest! The festival of the lion king is by far my favorite show and I love the character greetings at camp mickey and minnie. The parade is so upbeat and lively.

Your projects are amazing. I try to keep my disney pages simple but that isn't always the case. Thanks for the chance to win. I can be reached at mznewtonrn35@gmail.com
