Timeless Twine's Dr. Suess Challenge

Hi Crafty Friends!

Today I'd like to share with you my Designer entry for the Timeless Twine's February Challenge.

This month we are celebrating Dr. Suess' Birthday and Read Across America. I remember having all the Dr. Suess books when I was a kid, and all 3 of my kids have read his books. Reading is really important and I really had a good time searching the internet for Dr. Suess quotes, and I love the one I chose.

Since there isn't a Dr Suess Cricut cartridge, and I don't have a Cameo, I went to the internet for my images. I resized them to fit, printed them out on white cardstock, and then cut out by hand. I guess this is what we all did before these fancy machines, right?

Supplies Used:
Easel Card
Recollections cardstock
The Paper Studio "Basics" paper stack (from Hobby Lobby) patterned paper
Timeless Twine "Aqua Blue/White" and "Cherry Red/White", I twisted the 2 colors together before wrapping around
hot fix rhinestones

Challenge Details:
Theme: Dr. Seuss' Birthday and Read Across America
Colors: Aqua, Red & White
Shapes: Not so perfect...kinda like in the books (uneven lines, lopsided squares, etc.)
Embellishments: Timeless Twine of course =D (or embroidery thread if you don't have twine)
Bling (glitter, rhinestones, etc.)
Text: A Dr. Seuss quote

I'd like to share with you a picture of the Dr. Suess (Giesel) Library here in town on the University of California San Diego campus. I love that it is so unique, just like Dr. Suess!

Be sure to stop by the Timeless Twine blog to check out all the other Desinger's projects and to link up yours.

If your looking to get yourself some twine, then stop on by Timeless Twine's shop and pick some up.
