Halloween Project

Welcome back!

It's been sooo long since I've posted anything. I've had a creative block (off and on) for a couple of weeks but I have managed to create a few projects.

I am really excited for this time of the year. Not because the kids are back in school (they went back in July), but because Halloween is right around the corner! Besides Christmas, Halloween is our favorite holiday around here. We all dress up and decorate the inside and outside of our house. (I'll try to remember to post pictures after we decorate this year.)

I am entering the project in a challenge over at "erin lee creative". She is having a Halloween Challenge sponsored by Oh My Crafts.

I made this welcome banner to hang over an entry way in our house. It would look nice hung on a fireplace mantel, but we don't have one in this house. (They really aren't something that gets used much, if at all, in southern California.)

I used Paper Doll Dress Up and Mini Monsters for all the cut-outs and Mickey Font for the WELCOME letters. The papers are from K&Company. The spider web at the top of each banner is the Martha Stewart edge punch. I used black and brown to ink the edges, gel pens and sparkle gel pens for the doodling details, and Peachy Keen face stamps for their faces.

Here are some more pictures to show some of the detail.

I think my creative juices are flowing again! I have a lot more projects to finish and share.

Thanks for stopping by!
